Holiday Workshops

OKD holiday workshops are joyful, energetic and carefully planned- offering children a varied and engaging programme during the school holidays.

Each day includes a mix of dance in different styles, alongside arts and crafts, drama, singing, games and creative play, all led by our experienced OKD team. Days are structured to balance energy and calm, creativity and routine, so children can feel settled while still having lots of fun and building friendships. 

Alongside the core programme, we regularly invite guest artists and specialist practitioners to lead sessions that add something extra to the week. In the past, this has included cookery, slime-making, beatboxing, world music, circus skills and magic, giving children the chance to try new things and discover unexpected interests.

Workshops are carefully staffed, with clear routines, robust safeguarding practices and qualified first aiders on site.

We offer optional wraparound hours before and after the core workshop day for those families who need more flexible start and finish times. 

Our holiday workshops are open to all children, including those who don’t attend OKD weekly classes, and we work with schools and partners to offer free or subsidised places where possible.
